Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an unfitness of clutch members caused by an expansion due to a difference in temperatures in the engine by a method wherein a releasing shaft having a cam of special shape is installed in the clutch cover to eliminate an elongated pushing load. CONSTITUTION:Flange 26 and a reduced diameter part 28 are formed at a leading end part of the clutch cover 24 for the release rod 21, the clutch cover 24 is formed with a hole 29 crossing with the release rod 21 with a spacing L1 being left thereagainst, V-shaped groove 34 is made in a side surface of a leading end part of the releasing shaft 30 supported in the hole 29 to form a cam 35 having a substatial V-section. Relief groove 36 into which a reduced diameter part 28 is fitted is made at one side of the cam 35, an outward directed flange 26 is stored in V-shaped groove 34 in the cam 35 and then the edge 37 of V-shaped groove 34 is abutted against the end surface 38 of the flange 26.
