Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A peptide represented by the formula (R is H, R1-pro-Arg; R1 is H, R2-Ala-Gly-Ser-Gln-Arg-; R2 is H, H-R3 R3 is Gys, Tyr or its salt.
USE: It is used to prepare an antibody of human parathormone or as a labelling compound for determination of the parathormone.
PREPARATION: The sequential condensation of each aminoacid or oligopeptide is effected in accordance with the aminoacid arrangement and protecting groups on its side chains are removed at the final stage. The condensation process is required to be free from racemization or minimized in each step and the azide process or activated ester process is preferred. The condensation is advantageously started from side of carbon end.
