Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned heat collector capable of keeping a suffi-ciently high heat collecting efficiency even when it is installed directly on a roof of a small angle of inclination. CONSTITUTION:A number of heat collecting pipes 1 are arranged in one direction in parallel relationships with one another and one end of each of the pipes 1 is connected to a low temperature water feed pipe 2 while the other end is connected to a hot water feed pipe 3. Further, heat collecting plates 4 are fixed fin-like fashion to the heat collecting pipes 1 such that the heat collecting pipes 1 pass through the heat collecting plates 4 with the upper edges of the plates 4 inclined toward the hot water feed pipe 3 in parallel relationships with one another at an angle alpha of inclination in the order of 70-80 deg. with respect to the pipes 1. In addition, reflecting plates 5 are so provided that each of them connects the upper edge of each of the heat collecting plates 4 to the lower edge of the like plate adjacent thereto in the form of V in section. With the above structure, the heat energy applied on the light receiving surfaces 4a of the heat collecting plates 4 reflect on the surface 4a of the plates 4 and the surfaces 5a of the reflecting plates 5 and is collected efficiently by the black painted heat receiving surfaces 4b of the plates 4, the surfaces 5b of the plates 5 and the surfaces of the heat collecting pipes 1.
