Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify partial replacement of a damaged heat-insulating plate or plates and to cool the heat-insulating plates efficiently, by employing such an arrangement that a multiplicity of legs of the heat-insulating plates are fitted in freely disengageable manner, into through-holes formed in a support ring which is fastened to the outer casing of a gas-turbine combustor by the aid of support means. CONSTITUTION:A support means 2 is arranged in the outer casing of a combustor (not shown) and a flange 7a of a support ring 7 is fixed to the support means 2. The support ring 7 and a retainer plate 8 are formed with substantially 8-shaped through-holes 10, 11 consisting respectively of a large-diameter portion 10a, 11a, and a small-diameter portion 10b, 11b. Further, each of heat-insulating plates 6 are formed with legs 9 consisting of a large-diameter flange portion 9a and a small-diameter shaft portion 9b. The heat-insulating plates 6 are fixed in place by inserting the legs 9 into through- holes 10, 11 formed in the retainer plate 8 and support ring 7, in the manner that the support ring 7 is interposed between the retainer plate 8 and the heat-insulating plates 6. By thus securing the heat-insulating plates 6 to the support ring 7 such that they can be disengaged from the support ring 7 independently from each other, it is enabled to replace only a damaged heat-insulating plate partially.
