Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the variation in conductive path impedance, by holding a pair of contacted conductive members to a specified interval, and keeping the contact state to a constant value even if belt tension or the like varies at drive. CONSTITUTION:A belt shape recording body 1 consists of a photo conductor layer 11 at the uppermost position, 1st conduction member 13 at the middle and a base layer 15. An end of a follwer shaft 3a of a follower roller 3 is supported at a casing 17, which is made of a magnetic substance and supported freely movably toward the moving direction of the body 1. A spring 19 tightens the body 1 at all times. Another end 17a opposite to the spring 19 is absorbed with one end of a support member 16 made of a permanent magnet, and another end of the member 16 is fixed with a base 20a of the 2nd conductor member 20. The base 20a is connected to ground 21 and has carbon brushes 20a and the like.
