Abstract

CONSTITUTION:With a label printer having a preset memory and performing printing automatically in accordance with the contents of said memory, the capacity of the unwritten area of the memory is determined, the value thereof is divided by average item capacity, the result thereof is stored in a register and the content thereof is displayed with a digital display device. For example, data such as article name codes, unit prices, effective date, quantities, tare weights, article names or the like are fed to an arithmetic control section 3 by using an input devide 1, and are written successively in a preset memory 2, then in the section 3, the number of words in the unwritten areas of the memory 2 is determined, and is divided by average item capacity (namely, the average of the number of words constituting each item), and the result thereof is stored in a register 4 and is displayed in a digital display device 5.
