Abstract
PURPOSE: To restrain the vibration and obtain a small-sized captioned device by unbalancing centrifugal forces of two rotary disks with centers of gravity deviated from respective centers of revolution by equal distances only in one straight direction and reciprocating a support member as using the unbalance for the source of vibration.
CONSTITUTION: Rotary disks 2 and 3 are pivotted on a support member 1 provided on the casing of every sort of appartus to be movable longitudinally. They are respectively provided with teeth 6 and 7 on their circumferences to be engaged with each other. Numbers of the teeth 6 and 7 are selected to be equal, and both rotary disks 2 and 3 are rotated at an equal speed. Weights 8 and 9 are fast fixed on the rotary disks 2 and 3 of the same diameter and the same weight at positions deviated from axes 2' and 3' by the same distance, and centers of gravity G and G' are positioned to be symmetric to a tangential line 10' crossing a center line 10 at a right angle. When compressed air is jetted to engaging faces of teeth 6 and 7 from a nozzle 4, in case centers of gravity are positioned in the left or right half, the component force of the centrifugal force is given to the left or the right, and the vertical component force is denied for making reciprocation without vibration.
