Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the processing time and to increase the detecting accuracy of the leukocyte, by making effective use of the spectral characteristics of the leukocyte which characterized by the concentration signal difference (G-B) between a green (G) signal and a blue (B) signal of a camera. CONSTITUTION:When a leukocyte comes into the viewfield of a camera, signals G, R and B are delivered from a camera control 4 according to the electrical scan of the microscope image of the hemocyte formed by the camera 3 to be supplied to a picture processor 9. At the same time, the signals G and B are led to a subtractor circuit (G-B)5. If a leukocyte is detected, the signal G-B is supplied to a gate circuit 6 from the circuit 5. The circuit 6 commands a sorting process action of the leukocyte to the processor 9 via a minicomputer 7 and at the same time transmits the detection of the leukocyte to the computer 7.
