Abstract

PURPOSE: A polyester composition with excellent antistatic property and heat resistance, evolving no foreign odor during molding and excellent in workability, which is prepd. by compounding a polyalkylene terephthalate with a specified glyceride deriv.
CONSTITUTION: A polyester primarily composed of a polyalkylene terephthalate is compounded with 0.5W10wt% at least one glyceride deriv. of formulasIand II (wherein R1WR3 are each H or methyl; at least one of R'1WR"3 is 8W22C acyl and the balance is H; at least one of R"1WR"3 is 1W8C alkyl and the balance is H; l, m and n are each 0W500; l+m+n=200W500 ;a,b and c are each 0.1; a+b+c≠0). It is possible to easily form said glyceride deriv. by the addition of an alkylene oxide with a mono, di or triglyceride.
