Abstract

PURPOSE:To make rust proofing easier by a method wherein a film is formed by photochemical reaction of the varnish which is sensitive to the light of a specific wavelength. CONSTITUTION:The epoxy acrylate system varnish 6 which is compounded with a specified amount of the hardener such as benzoin system compound which is sensitive to and is hardened by the light of a specific wavelength is applied on the circumference surface 2 of a rotor 1 by a coating roller 8. After the varnish 6 applied on the circumference surface 2 of the rotor 1 is adjusted to be uniform, the ultraviolet radiation is applied by a high voltage mercury lamp 17 and the applied varnish 6 is hardened, so that a film is formed on the circumference surface 2 of the rotor 1. With above constitution, a local exhaust device is not necessary and the time required to form a film can be shortened.
