Abstract

PURPOSE:To make dynamic spring constant smaller by making up a flexible part into which a coil spring is to be buried from a synthetic resin foam having excellent water repellency and also forming a recession on its periphery. CONSTITUTION:A coil 1 is buried in a flexible part 2 which is almost cylindrically molded of a synthetic resin foam containing a desired proportion of a bitumen or asphalt, extending toward the axial direction of the coil 1. And, on the periphery of the flexible part 2, a spirally grooved recession 4 provided between the adjacent spring elemental wires 3 constituting the coil 1 and provided in the axial direction of the coil. Since the flexible part 2 contains a bitumen or asphalt, its water repellency is excellent and also the dynamic spring constant can be made smaller by the formation of the grooved recession 4.
