Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer recording medium, which is able to prevent leakage of secrecy without providing any process on a recorded ink donor sheet, by providing one side of a substrate paper with an ink layer which is thermal melting and thermal sublimating and has the same color as the substrate paper. CONSTITUTION:For instance, on one side of a substrate paper 3 which is prepared by coloring a semi-clear dark yellow condenser paper into black, an ink layer 4, which is prepared by dispersing black pigment in a binder, such as paraffin wax, etc., is uniformly coated to form an ink donor sheet 5. And, this sheet 5 is laminated on a recording paper 6 and heated from the side of a paper 3. Thus heated part 4A of the ink layer starts coloring, and at the same time, it becomes fluid state and adheres onto the recording paper 6. And then, when the sheet 5 is exfoliated from the recording paper 6, the colored ink layer 4A is transferred onto the recording paper 6 to turn an ink layer 4B on the sheet 5 into dark yellow, and since this color is same as an exposed section 5A, it is difficult to discriminate an image information from others, and therefore, it is possible to prevent leakage of secrecy.
