Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the stopping of engine in the moment of danger during a backward movement by arranging such that a decompression lever takes an operating position when a manual lever is gripped but returns to a stopping position when the manual lever is released. CONSTITUTION:An actuating lever 11 is arranged in the vicinity of a guide groove 5 for a change lever 4 and is attached with a projection 13 having an inclined surface 12. Since this projection 13 is positioned in the vicinity of a backward position groove 7, the change lever 4 abuts against the inclined surface 12 when it is pushed into the backward position groove, so that the lever 11 is moved down as shown in the drawings. A shaft 14 is attached to the intermediate portion of the operating lever 11. Further, the intermediate portion of a rotary linkrod 15 is pivotally attached to the shaft 14. The rotary linkrod 15 is coupled to a manual lever 3 by means of a wire 20 and is attached with a spring 16 which therefore, urges the rotary linkrod 15 to extend across the operating lever unless the manual lever 3 is gripped. Further, a wire 17 led to a decompression lever 18 is connected to the rotary linkrod 15 through a ring member 19.
