Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable energy to be accumulated by only a main body of a flywheel by a method wherein a magnetic member is fixed to the inside periphery of the flywheel, and the floating-up of the flywheel and the power input-output operation are effected by a magnetic attracting device and an armature which are provided on the internal periphery side of the main body. CONSTITUTION:The main body 1 of the flywheel is formed from artificial fibers or an artificial resin in the shape of an annular body having a rectangular cross section, and arc-shaped magnetic members 6 are arranged in an annular configuration on the inside periphery of the main body 1 and fixed to the inside periphery. The arc-shaped magnetic attracting device 7 is provided on the internal side of a lower part of the main body 1, with the member 6 and the first gap G1 interposed therebetween. In addition, arc-shaped power input-output armatures 8 are symmetrically placed on the internal periphery side of side parts of the main body 1, with the magnetic member 6 and the second gaps G2 interposed between the main body 1 and the armatures 8. The floating-up of the main body 1 and the power input-output operation are effected by the relation ship of the magnetic member 6 with the attracting device 7 and the armature 8.
