Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a rim without harmful air holes or fins, even though complicated figure-molds are used, by pouring raw materials mixed by a mixer into a rim forming mold which is previously air purged before being poured. CONSTITUTION:The runner gate 3 of a mold frame a composed of a lower mold 1 and an upper mold 2 is connected to a static mixer 5 which is equipped in a head adapter 4. A seal packing 4 made of elastic material is fixed at an upper periphery of the head adapter 4. An air purge mechanism C composed of a cylindrical portion 17 passing through the direction of up and down and having its upper opening at the bottom of the static mixer 5, and a valve 18 being inserted slidably into the cylindrical portion and closing the upper opening, is settled in said head adapter 4. The compositions of two liquid foarmed resin is separately poured into raw material tanks 7, 7 of a foaming device 6, and then they are poured into the mold being air purged through the mixing head 15 and the static mixer 5. Thus rim is formed.
