Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a storage device on a train, by combining and broadcasting ground information of the train and preliminarily set phrases on the train. CONSTITUTION:Constant broadcast phrases are stored preliminarily in a storage device 5 on a train, and information changed successively by stations and trains (such as the destination, the next stop station, and the side of door opening) are transmitted from a storage device 2 on the ground to the train. On the train, information received from the ground is stored temporarily in the storage device 5 and is combined with phrases on the train, and they are synthesized by a voice synthesizing logic device 6 and are broadcasted to passengers in the train from a speaker 8 through a boradcasting device 7 at a required timing by train information or a broadcasting instruction from another system.
