CONSTITUTION:A screen 1 rotates in the direction reverse to that of an insulating drum 11, and the peripheral speed of the screen 1 is optionally variable. Convex and concave cylindrical lenses 21, 22 are arranged in an optical system to expose the screen 1 to an original light image enlarged only in the movement direction. When the screen velocity is raised from 10cm/sec to 20cm/sec, and the original light image is enlarged by twice only in the movement direction, the resolution measured rises from 6.4 line/mm. to 8.0 lines/mm., thus permitting deterioration of resolution in the movement direction is prevented and a high quality image is formed.
