Abstract
PURPOSE: To lessen strain to be generated in bellows for lengthening its life by bringing a reinforcing ring of a doughnut-shaped disk form into contact with the bellows only at its each top portion.
CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing ring 7 of a doughnut-shaped disk form is made up in such a way that it can come into contact with only each top of a bellows 2. Since, thus, the deformation of each portion of the bellows when subjected to compressive deformation is not restrained and also an expansion or shrinkage acting to be received from a pantagraph 5 can be transmitted to the bellows side by friction at the contact point between the bellows 2 and the reinforcing ring 7, a role of deformation control by which the expansion and shirnkage of the tops of the bellows can be equalized can be attained. The ring 7 is formed by rolling a thin plate into a ring form, and its inside diameter side is provided with a circular form smaller than the circular radius of the trough portion of the bellows in such a way that the contact face between the ring 7 and the bellows 2 is made smaller.
