Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize an exchange system with high reliability and high economical properties, by providing a converting circuit that transfers the information of M channels in a 1:1 correspondence between a distribution network that transfers the N channel information and a multiplex transmission terminal station incorporated with M channels less than the N channels. CONSTITUTION:Among 30-channel HW501-50K, 510 and 511 which are stored in a distribution network 1, K pieces of channel highways (HW) 501-50K are connected to converting circuits 71-7K respectively. The HW510 and 511 are connected to subscriber line concentration networks 21 and 22; and the circuits 71-7K are connected to transmission end offices 41-4K as well as to 24-channel multiplex HW61-6K. The circuits 71-7K insert the information on the 24CH multiplex HW into the prescribed 24 CHs on the 30CH multiplex HW, and the rest 6 CHs are made idle. In such way, the editing is carried out and accordingly the network 1 performs a digital exchange with high reliability and high economical properties.
