Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the durability and the transfer efficiency of an elastic tube by providing flexible soft parts on the periphery of the elastic tube for increasing bite-in angles of squeeze rollers to prevent biting-in of slurry.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic tube 1 is pushed by a squeeze roller 12 nearly above a driven shaft 10. Since the elastic tube 1 is provided with flexible soft parts 2 near both shafts 9 and 10, it is quite fitting to the rollers 12. That is, the bite- in angle β of the squeeze roller 12 to the elastic tube 1 is increased. This construction permits to check slurry in biting into pushing parts of squeeze rollers 12 in the elastic tube 1 and increase the capacity between front and rear rollers 12. Consequently, the elastic tube 1 is prevented from abrasion, and the slurry can be conveyed efficiently.
