Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having high controlling effect to planthopper and leafhopper to which the separate use of the components is not sufficiently effective, by compounding O,S-dimethyl N-acetylphosphoroamidothioate with a specific organophosphorus insecticide as active components.
CONSTITUTION: O,S-dimethyl N-acetylphosphoroamidothioate is mixed with a small amount of O,O-diethyl O-(2-isopropyl-4-methyl-6-pyrimidinyl)phosphorothionate, O,O-di-n-propyl O-4-methylthiophenylphosphate, and/or O,O-dimethyl O- (3-methyl-4-nitrophenyl)phosphorothionate. The controlling effect of the agent is different from those attained by the separate use of each component. The composition has no phytotoxicity to useful plants, and can be applied as an economical and safe insecticide.
