Metal plates 3 of U shape hold the both ends of the tapes between the method plates 3 in piles, and a holding plate 4 is placed under the lower metal plate 3, and then the whole members are nipped by a clip 5. A hot electric iron 6 is touched on the upper metal plate 3. Both-ends of the electric tapes 1, 2 are heated by way of metal plate 3, and the finishing end of the wound tape 1 is welded to the starting end of the wound tape 2.
