A period of clock pulses CK1 or CK2 from terminals 10U or 10D is made approximately the same as the tau period of the signals SS or multiplied by N, and the levels of the output signals SE of the D/A converter 16 are successively elevated in one step shapes in the order of e0, e1... at every the period of the clock pulses. Accordingly, modulated pulses, pulse width thereof widens in order in response to the increase of the levels of the signals SE, are obtained.
