Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a smooth separation of fluidized heating medium and noncombustible substances, and circulation of a fluidized heating medium by a method wherein the fluidized heating medium is fed into a furnace by circulation through a weight ratio separator and an eddy flow separator. CONSTITUTION:Paddle feeder 2 transports in sequence the noncombustibles mixed in the fluidized heating medium and a part of the combustion waste gas generated in the furnace 1 to the discharge pipe 3. The noncombustibles and the fluidized heating medium are separated by air by their weight ratio, the noncombustibles heavier than the fluidized heating medium is stayed temporarily on the double damper 6 and then intermittently fed out. Discharged gas containing the heating medium fed from the fluidized thermal heating medium outlet 15 in the weight ratio separator A is sucked by a primary blower 9, passed through the pipe 10 and then flowed into the eddy flow separator B. The waste gas introduced is varied to a swirl gas flow, the heating medium is separated from the discharged gas by its centrifugal force and the gravity, and finally collected at the collection box 14. The accumulated heating medium is circulated to the inlet 22 of the fluidized heating medium.
