Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the air permeability of paper without deteriorating the inherent feature of paper, by a method wherein a large number of fine pores are extensively formed in a whole surface or a desired part of the sheet for a continuous printing form having a poor air permeability.
CONSTITUTION: In a final stage of a manufacturing process or in a desired stage after a sheet S having a poor air permeability is manufactured and processed, fine pores are formed by a corona discharge method in the sheet S having a poor air permeability such as adhesive papers, art papers, tag papers etc. to obtain a continuous print from F forming a sheet S' having a large number of fine pores 5. A corona discharge treatment takes place to form 50W1,500 pores/ cm2 according to the material quality of the sheet S, and as a result, 5,000sec or more, which it takes for an adhesion paper to permeate 100cc of air under a JIS P-817 measruement, can be reduced to 300sec or less.
