Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce size and noise are well as to improve efficiency by a method wherein an axial-flow-type fan is disposed below a dew receiving tray and a nozzle part is provided between the tray and the fan, so that a part of air blowing out from the axial-flow type fan is returned to the suction side of the fan via a space between the nozzle part and the dew receiving tray.
CONSTITUTION: An axial flow type fan 5 is disposed below a dew receiving tray 9B and a depthwise dimension D2 is selected to become substantially equal to depthwise dimension D1 of an indoor unit. A nozzle part 6B is disposed to face the axial flow-type fan 5 and provide a through opening 8 through which a part of air B blowing out from the fan 5 is returned to the suction side of the fan. With this construction, there occurs no vortex between the fan 5 and the dew receiving tray 9B and a stable one rigid vortex B is produced, thus reducing size and noise of the fan and improving efficiency.
