Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the clamping accuracy of a shaft fitted into the inside of a hub by providing fitting parts projecting inwards alternately at the free end of the hub in a yoke consisting of the hub and a bearing projecting from the hub. CONSTITUTION:A yoke consists of a hub 11 formed by rolling a thin metal plate and a bearing 12, and a round hole 16 is provided in one of the free ends 14 of the hub 11 and a screw hole 15 is provided in the other of the free ends 14. Also, a serration or spline 18 is provided on the inner surface of the hub 11 to be fitted with a shaft 21. And, fitting parts 17 projecting inwards in mutually facing manner are formed at the free end 14 on the opposite side of a shaft 21 in relation to the screw hole 15. Thus, when bolts are fitted into the holes 15 and 16 and clamped, the fitting parts 17 are closely fitted, the free end 14 and the hub 11 are deformed inwards at the fitting face and its opposite position as the supporting points, and the shaft 21 is fixed with the hub 11.
