Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the distortion of a reproduction signal, the shortening of the life of a reproducing stylus, etc., by flattening a recording surface, by decreasing recording beam intensity for recording a main information signal in a section where another information signal is recorded adjacently. CONSTITUTION:Pits 1 which correspond to the 1st information signal (main information signal) form a spiral or concentric recording track and at its intermediate part, pits 2 and 3 which correspond to the 2nd information signal form recording tracks. When the main information signal is recorded on a recording medium disk like this, the intensity of a recording beam is made lower in a section A, where the 2nd information signal is recorded adjacently, than in the other section B, so that the surfaces of recording tracks formed by the pits 1 which correspond to the main information signal in both the sections A and B are included in the same surface.
