Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve operability by fitting a couple of lock cams, which can lock guide pins projected from cassette holder, to lock plates which can move up and down, and left and right at a distance.
CONSTITUTION: A cassette tape recorder 10 has a horizontal base plate 12 and a couple of guide plates 14 and 16 which are fixed to the side part of the base plate 12 to constitute a chassis together with the base plate 12. The guide plates 14 and 16 guide a cassette holder 18 over the base plate 12 when the holder is elevated or lowered. A lock plate 22 is fitted to the external surface of the right guide plate 14 so that it can slide, and an ejection plate 20 is slidably fitted outside the guide plate 14 at a good distance off from the lock plate 22 and guide plate 14.
