Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the optical units of an photodisk device from vibrating during recording, by fixing the optical unit at every track pitch. CONSTITUTION:Rod 25 for fixation is fitted to optical table 8. Further, lock member 27 is arranged rotatably around shaft 28. Furthermore, lock member 27 is activated around shaft 28 by compression spring 29 normally clockwise. As solenoid 33 is activated, shaft 30 is pulled down against the force of compression spring 29 and lock member 27 rotates on shaft 28 counterclockwise. Consequently, fixation rod 25 is fixed by being sandwiched in between lock members 26 and 27 to stop the movement of the optical unit moving in the radius direction of the disk.
