Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a shadow mask support frame against a mechanical shock by constituting a support member using high and low thermal expansion metal sheets which are reinforced in a curve work section. CONSTITUTION:A shadow mask support 29 consists of high and low thermal expansion metal sheets 31 and 30 which are spatially independent and mutually arranged almost in parallel on a hook section 32 with a hole section 321 which is hooked on a panel pin implanted on the panel so as to be jointly used as a spring member. An arc-shaped curve processing section 30a is provided between the hook section 32 of the low thermal expansion metal section 30 and the fixed section in the width direction of this metal sheet 30 and reinforced mechanically.
