Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a solar light condenser of high accuracy by laying thin Fresnel sheets along the envelope curved surface composed of net-, grid- or lattice-shaped fine wire material groups thereby forming the Fresnel condenser and supporting the thin Fresnel sheets in a strain-free manner.
CONSTITUTION: The supporting frame 15 of the Fresnel condenser is made by welding straight frames 151, 152, 153, 154 of the surroundings arch frames 155, 156, and stanchions 18. Studs with heads 161, 162 are studded at predetermined intervals on the top surface of the frames 152, 154, 155, 156, and piano wire groups 171, 172... 181, 182... having been coated with resin are spanned between these. These piano wires are extended in a grid or lattice shape to form the cylindrical envelope curved face of the curvature conforming to the design of the Fresnel condenser. Such a smooth envelope curved surface makes the slip movement at the thermal elongating or contracting easy; therefore, the accuracy of condensing may be maintained high without producing any strain and deformation in the thin Fresnel sheets.
