PURPOSE: To provide water-soluble working fluid of metal excellent in corrosion resistance, by the combination of amine with an inorg. inhibitor.
CONSTITUTION: Said aqueous soln. is made by mixing 0.3W1.4% low vapor pressure, high-hydrophilic amine such as triethanolamine, diethanolamine selected from alkanol amines and alkylene amines, which has ≤0.5mm Hg vapor pressure at 20°C, and which is soluble completely in water in an arbitrary ratio; 0.3W0.8% inorg. inhibitor such as sodium borate or metaborate, or potassium metaborate etc., or by mixing 0.4W2.0% said amines; and 0.8W1.2% sodium orthosilicate, potassium orthosilicate, or primary, secondary, or tertiary phosphate of sodium or potassium, or primary, or secondary phosphite of sodium or potassium. Said water-soluble working soln. for metal is excellent in corrosion resistance, showing no harmful effect and environmental pollution.
