Abstract

PURPOSE:To lengthen the service life effectively by placing a spacer made of synthetic resin between a spring board and a rod member thereby preventing the deterioration of the characteristic of the spring board. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 6 is placed between a U-bolt 4 and both sides (only one side is shown) in the direction of depth of a stripe spring board 3 made of FRP. The spacer 6 is formed of CFRP, GFRP or reinforced synthetic resin, etc. having the rigidity approximately same with that of the spring board 3. the spacer 6 may be a planar board, may have a groove for preventing the positional shifting or may be U-shaped. Consequently the spring board 3 will not contact directly with the U-bolt 4 to prevent the deterioration of the characteristic and the abrasion of the spring board due to the vibration resulting in the lengthening of the service life of the spring board 3.
