Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the influence of edge effect by providing a means of making an original image on a recording body and a means of overlaying network dots through light beam scanning, converting the large area image to the aggregation of dots and recording the same. CONSTITUTION:The image of an original 1 is formed on a photosensitive drum 10 by an imaging lens 2, and at the same instant, the modulated laser beam is scanned. The laser beam is outputted by being added with an LBP mode and a rush black image is segmented by white lines. For the period r1 of spacial network dots and the width r2 of the white lines, it is desirable to set the size of r2 of the white parts at r2<<r1 because the decrease in resolution occurs when the white frames are sufficiently resolved since these are made into the dots when the output paper is viewed by the human eyes. Even if the size of the white frame parts is made sufficiently narrow, the electrostatic image is resolved sufficiently, and is not resolved in development and transfer, thus no uncomfortable feel is caused by the dots when viewed by man.
