Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to digitally control the welding set conditions of a welding machine by manually operating a select switch in such a manner that the display contents of a display device become desired welding conditions and supplying and controlling welding condition change pulses to an addition-substraction counter.
CONSTITUTION: The common terminal 46c of a change-over switch 46 consisting of a toggle switch is usually in a neutral position and is away from both terminals 46a, 46b, hence the welding condition change pulses of a pulse oscillator 44 are not supplied to an addition-subtraction counter 42 and the holding value of the counter 42 is maintained at the specified value. If the terminal 46c is connected manually to either addition terminal 46a or subtraction terminal 46b, the welding condition change pulses of the transmitter 44 are supplied to the counter 42, thus the digital holding value is changed. This digital value is converted to a decimal number by a binary-to-decimal converter 50 and is then supplied to a display device 48. Hence, the operator is able to change the welding condition of the counter 42 to a desired value by controlling the switch 46 while visually observing the set conditions of the display device 48.
