Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain easy manufacture and airtight operation and further, high pressure resistance by pressure-inserting a lid body formed using a material of a higher thermal expansion factor than a container body in a hermetically sealed fashion, at the open part of a cylindrical container body with a bottom.
CONSTITUTION: A lid 2 of aluminum having a higher thermal expansion factor than the material of the body, e.g. platinum is pressure-inserted into the open part of a container body of cylinder shape with a bottom which is made of e.g., aluminum for containing a specimen 3 so that the container body 1 may be hermetically sealed. On account of the higher thermal expansion factor of the lid body 2 than the container body 1, the lid body 2 and the container body 1 become increasingly pressure- fitted to each other following an increase in temperature to maintain a secure airtight condition and endure a rise of internal pressure. Thus it is possible to realize easy fabrication and airtight operation and assure high pressure resistance.
