Abstract
PURPOSE:To readily transfer a liquefied gas by a method wherein an SF6 gas in a gas insulation switchgear is recovered by reducing its pressure to a zero pressure or thereabout with an absolute pressure in order to store the gas as a liquefied SF6 gas. CONSTITUTION:A pressure control apparatus 9, a vacuum pump 4, a gas compressor 2, a gas liquefier 6, a recovery vessel 3, etc. are connected to a gas insulation switchgear 1. An SF6 gas contained in the gas insulation switchgear 1 is recovered up to a certain value, before being liquefied in the liquefier 6 and then stored in the recovery vessel 3. By so doing, the transfer and transportation of the gas can be readily carried out because the liquefied gas recovery apparatus may be made compact.
