Abstract

PURPOSE: A current connector which is so arranged as to perform uniform welding by gripping a grip contact type power feed electrode that can slip to and stop at required positions freely in the direction connected with a welding transformer in contact with the multiple receiving electrodes installed to welding jigs and supplying current.
CONSTITUTION: Receiving electrodes 14a, 14b are installed to an upper frame 16a, and in this case, these are so positioned that the welding current cables 7 connected and secured to the electrode holders 5 fitted with the electrode tips 6 mounted to the ends of the pressing devices 4 arrayed in the respective spot positions have a uniform length. A guide 12b is provided to the guiding posts 12a mounted onto an upper frame 16a and a grip contact type power feed electrode 15 is mounted to this guide 12b. It is then successively slipped to and stopped at the preset positions by means of a driving device 11a and a feed screw 11b. The power feed electrode 15 grips, closely adheres and contacts the receiving electrodes 14a etc. thereby supplying welding current.
