Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a soil conditioner which promote the growth of plants, by a method wherein Amagi-pumice powder is inoculated with a microorganism (soil bacteria) which promotes the growth of plants and at the same time is wetted with liquid.
CONSTITUTION: Amagi-pumice powder 1 is inoculated with a microorganism (soil bacteria) which promotes the growth of plants. The microorganism inhabits within pores 2 in which air, water, etc. are stored and is cultivated while continuing living activity. When the Amagi-pumice powder inoculated with the microorganism is placed on soil 5 or buried around the roots 4 of plant 3, components of the Amagi- pumice directly affects the microorganism and helps the microorganism to grow. Further, the roots of the plant 3 and the microorganism are kept warm by adiabatic- regenerative action. The components act on the soil so as to keep the soil temp. at a temp. of 20W25°C. At the same time, neutral to weak alkaline conditions are kept. Thus, the growth of the microorganism is promoted and the growth of the plant 3 is promoted by the microorganism.
