Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a clear shading and a clear image without causing uneven application owing to a uniform photosensitive layer by printing a shading on sensitive base paper with a diazosulfonate. CONSTITUTION:A diazo photosensitive fluid contg. a diazo compound, a coupler, zinc chloride, etc. is applied to form a photosensitive layer, and a shading is printed on the resulting sensitive base paper with a diazosulfonate such as 4-diazo-2,5- dibutoxy-N,N-diethylaniline or 4-diazo-2,5,4'-triethoxydiphenylamine. The pattern can hardly be discriminated with the naked eye owing to the yellow color of the diazo compound until it is exposed. By carrying out exposure and development, the pattern of the nonimage part is colored without coloring the shading of the image part, so a clear copy is obtd.
