Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the miscounting, by adhering a magnet at the tip of the pendulum which swings via a reset spring and with every walk and then giving an electric conduction to the electromagnet provided at the upper part of the magnet by the on of the reed switch which is turned on every time when the magnet comes close to the reed switch thus to adsorb the magnet as well as count the signals of the lead switch via a counter.
CONSTITUTION: The pendulum 1 vibrates up and down around the fulcrum 2 via the reset spring 3 with every walk. The reed switch 5 closes when the magnet 4 attached to the tip of the pendulum 1 comes close to the switch 5, and the electromagnet 6 provided at the upper part of the magnet 4 conducts via the power source 7. Thus the magnet 4 is adsorbed to the electromagnet 6. At the same time, the magnet 4 goes further away from the switch 5, and thus the switch 5 is turned off to cut off the electric conduction to the electromagnet 6. As a result, the pendulum 1 is reset by the resetting force of the spring 3. The pendulum 1 is never swung up to the on position of the switch 5 with small acceleration. Thus the miscounting can be prevented.
