Abstract

PURPOSE: A heat-regenerating material which is useful as a heat source of an air conditioner heat pump, etc., and which is protected from supercooling, prepared by adding a compound such as BaHPO4 or Ba(H2PO4)2 to a regenerating material containing CaCl2.6H2O or CaBr2.6H2O.
CONSTITUTION: The regenerating material is obtained by adding to a regenerating material consisting essentially of CaCl2.6H2O or CaBr2.6H2O and optionally containing MgBr2.6H2O, MgCl2.6H2O or the like, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of BaHPO4, Ba(H2PO4)2, Ba3(PO4)2, Ba2P4O7, BaPO3, BaC2O4, Ba(BO2)2, BaSiO3, CaSiF6 and BaSiF6.
EFFECT: There can be obtained a regenerating material having an operation temperature range desirable for the intended use.
