Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a field closing for a brushless exciting type synchronous motor at a given rotational frequency by detecting field closing rotational frequency through fluctuation in frequency of an armature input. CONSTITUTION:A fluctuating frequency of a primary input at starting of a synchronous motor is 2sfHz (s: slip, f: power source frequency). Since slip s changes from 1 to 0, it changes near to 120Hz at the time of commencing start and to 0Hz at the time of closing start at a 60Hz power. A rotational frequency can be detected by observing said change, therefore a field closing is obtainable for the brushless exciting type synchronous motor at a given rotational frequncy.
