Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an insulation layer from deterioration in performance at the time of hardening formation of the insulation layer as a whole, by forming an insulation layer, which is to cover outside of a high-resistance corona shield layer, with a prepregnated material using a synthetic fibrous nonwoven cloth as a basic material. CONSTITUTION:A coil conductor 2 is provided with a grounding insulation layer 3, and on the outside circumferential surface, a low-resistance corona shield layer 4 is provided in such a manner as to extend from inside of slot to neighboring section of exit of the slot. And a high-resistance corona shield layer 7 is provided in such a manner as to partly overlap the low-resistance corona shield layer 4. And outside circumferential surface of this high-resistance corona shield layer 7 is provided with a covering insulation layer 8 consisting of a prepregnated material whose base material is synthetic fiber nonwoven cloth. As it is possible, by doing so, to prevent resin, which is mixed into SiC, from entering the covering insulation layer 8, it is possible to prevent deterioration in characteristics of the high-resistance corona shield layer 7 at the time of hardening formation of the insulation layer as a whole at a time.
