Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the operation of the coring-up machine of casting equipment and prevent the disengagement, and failure accidents of a core by providing a positioning stopper or shock absorving device near the connecting part of a core supporting flask or an air cylinder for brake.
CONSTITUTION: A stationary flask 14 fixed with a shock absorber 13 is installed near the connecting part of the rod 12 of an air cylinder 10 driving a core supporting flask 6 and a rotary frame 8 and the mounting position thereof is so adjusted that the end of the rotary frame 8 abuts on the shock absorber 13 just before the final stroke of the air cylinder 10. As a result, shock is absorbed at the positioning of the coring-up machine 6, and the disengagement and failure of the core are surely prevented. Intended effect is also obtainable even by mounting this shock absorber to the core supporting flask 6 and abutting the same on the stopper.
