Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the temp. drop of the gas to be treated, and improve energy saving and dust collection efficiency by forming water films at specific proportional water flows as water flow per length of the wetting edges of dust collecting electrodes, to the dust collecting electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: A water film type electrical dust collecting part 3 is provided in the post-flow part of a final stage dry type electrical dust collecting part 2, and consists of a parallel type in which platelike dust collecting electrodes are juxtaposed in parallel to the gas flow, and water films are formed on the respective surfaces thereof, or a channel type in which groove type electrodes are disposed in plurality in the direction blocking the gas flow and water films are formed on the surfaces of said electrodes. The equipment is operated by forming water films at proportional water flows at 0.4W1.6 (ton/h.m) with respect to the amount of the gas to be treated to the dust collecting electrodes of said water film type electrical dust collecting part. This prevents the problems such as breakage of the water films for the dust collecting electrodes and deposits, etc., minimizes the drop of gas temp. and realizes energy saving.
