Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent shelf stability and can form cured film having excellent solvent resistance and weathering resistance, by a method wherein an epoxy cpd. and a chlorinated polyolefin are blended with an acrylic copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: 0.5W30pts.wt. of an epoxy cpd. (B) having at least two epoxy group (e.g. ethylene glycol glycidyl ether) and 1W100pts.wt. of a chlorinated polyolefin (C) [e.g. a chlorinated ethylene or a chlorinated propylene (Co) polymer having a chlorination degree of 20W40%], are blended with 100pts.wt. of an acrylic copolymer (A) obtd, from a basic nitrogen-contg. acrylic monomer to form a coating compsn. for a polyolefin resin.
