Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the scatter of load on a production line, by displaying the amount of pending intermediate parts of each stage on the production line, and asking for help from another stage or offering help to another stage in accordance with said amount.
CONSTITUTION: In each stage on the production line, a storing shelf 1 and the pending amount displaying apparatus 2 are provided. On the pending amount displaying apparatus 2 are displayed the maximum, minimum and reference numbers of pending parts, and when the display is below the minimum number of pending parts the operator of the particular stage helps the previous stage as shown by the arrow, and when the previous stage becomes the reference number of pending parts, said operator goes back to his stage. If his stage becomes above the maximum number of pending parts, help is offered from the previous stage. For example, the storing shelf 1 comprises a plurality of boxes for storing intermediate parts, and when a work is put in a box, it is detected by a sensing element to inform the operator by the pending amount displaying apparatus 2. Accordingly, the operator himself can grasp the fluctuation of load of each stage and the scatter of the load can be rationally adjusted.
