Abstract
PURPOSE:To selectively drive the television receiver or the radio receiver with one knob, by providing the switching means in the electronic type tuner using varactor diodes. CONSTITUTION:In receiving television signal, when the first switch 7 is connected as shown in figure, the power supply 5 is fed to the TV reception circuit 1 and the audio output circuit 6, and the voltage VH is fed to the variable resistor 9 from the TV tuning voltage generating circuit 3 and the voltage VT is fed to the tuning varactor diode 12 of the TV reception circuit 1 via the second switch 8 from the moving terminal, enabling to select desired channel. Further, when the switch 7 is switched to opposite position, the power supply 5 is fed to the radio reception circuit 2 and the cicuit 6, the voltage from the circuit 2 is fed to the radio tuning circuit 4 to be the voltage VL, which is fed to the resistor 9 via the switching diode 11. The voltage VT in this case is fed to the tuning varactor diode 13 of the circuit 2 via the switch 8, enabling to receive desired station.
